HARHARSHIWOOHEARTHANDS *shot* ... not even very good heart hands, but HAYTHEREYAGO

I... would like to say I had fun with this, but it wasn't aaalll fun and games. I don't usually use watercolors, like ever, and it took me forever to find these crayola ones. Seriously, I searched my room for 1/2hour, gave up, and realised that they were sitting next to my computer T_T And then I used that Miskit masking fluid stuff, and all the warnings on that stuff made me slightly paranoid >_>; And The paper got all waterwrinkley...

It was an experience =D

... So, I actually drew the idea for this loooong ago, and started it in acrylics on a little canvas, but failed and left it alone. Then, hey, I thought the idea would be good for these themes, so I tried again with different media. Still copics, but I've got watercolor for the background, acrylics for the gold highlights (it's shiiiinny irl ), and a little bit of colored pencil. Just because. I... don't really know what I did with it.

There are some bits that are messy, but I don't really care, because at the moment I'm reeeeeally happy with how this turned out. AND I finally learned how to draw decent wings without them looking stupid and without looking at a ref. AWESOME.

D: He makes me want to join your site even more..but it has me so confused. Apparently I'm not smart enough to use a traditional RP site.

The wings are gorgeous. Very falcon-esce, but I especially love the background. It's a cool concept. Just makes me hope no one pulls on the strings because they would slice and *hurt*. XD

Ahhh, this looks amazing! Seriously, it's so well done. I love the colors, and the heart, and everything. :3

The only "bad" thing I have to say is that, if a wing ever went to that angle on any creature, they'd be in a tremendous amount of pain. Just saying, for realism's sake... other than that it looks totally beautiful! The wings are, honestly, quite well done. :)

The background was fun to mess around with~~<3 And... yes... I hadn't quite considered that, but it would hurt... >_>;

Thank yooouu~~<3 For the compliments and the criticism, cause that's really nice to know. I've never had the chance to really be around birds and see how they tick, so it's nice to know how to avoid something that would be awkward. :hug:

lol You're quite welcome. ^^ And, yeah, a bird wing pretty much has to stay in the straight-up angle (unless it's in flight), or the bone will snap. ^^;

awww, thank you x3 I'm thinking I'll be using that method for backgrounds a little more often now, cause I couldn't do that any other way, and it's pretty fun~~
